Workday Launches Agent Passport to Test, Verify, and Continuously Monitor Enterprise AI Agents

LAS VEGAS, June 2, 2026— At Workday DevCon, Workday announced the launch ofAgent Passport, a comprehensive solution designed to test, verify, and continuously monitor every AI agent within the enterprise. As AI agents increasingly handle sensitive tasks ranging from employee onboarding to financial processing, the need for rigorous security verification has become critical. Agent Passport addresses this by providing a verified record that every agent has been tested against the most serious risks before entering production.

Addressing Critical AI Security Risks

Agent Passport measures every agent against industry-leading standards, including theOWASP LLM Top 10,NIST AI RMF, andMITRE ATLAS. A core differentiator of Agent Passport is its reliance on independent verification rather than self-attestation. While many platforms offer security testing performed by the same vendor that built the agent, Workday has partnered with leading vendors in agentic security and regulatory compliance to ensure testing is independent, open, and comparable across agents from any vendor.

The solution establishes a shared standard through three distinct layers of information for each agent's record:1.Broad Trust Areas:Covers Workday-defined areas such as protection against attacks, safe behavior at runtime, and human oversight.2.Specific Testable Claims:Includes specific claims tied to public standards, such as resistance to known attack techniques.3.Signed Attestations:Features results signed by the partner that performed the testing, issued by verified, trusted attestors.

This structure allows security teams to compare agents from different vendors on the same terms. If two agents carry the same check from two different partners, companies know they were held to the same security bar.

Cisco Joins as Launch Partner

Ciscoserves as the launch partner for Agent Passport, bringingCisco AI Defenseto independently test AI agents running in Workday against leading security standards before deployment and continuously protect them at runtime.

If a problem is discovered during operation, Agent Passport enables a single revocation action that can automatically stop, limit, or otherwise restrict affected agents across the entire business.

Availability

Agent Passport will be available to early access customers in thesecond half of 2026, with general availability projected before the end of 2026. The partnership between Workday and Cisco is active today, with joint capabilities rolling out over the coming quarters.
