SRU AWS GenAI Internal Challenge 2025

Overview

This hackathon challenges you to build generative AI projects using AWS services and prepare for the national stage. You'll learn the basics of GenAI and create a creative prototype using PartyRock, which is free and doesn't require an AWS account. The focus is on learning and recognition, with the opportunity to showcase your skills.

Requirements

Participants must be above the legal age of majority in their country of residence. The hackathon is open to participants worldwide, with standard exceptions. You need to build a functional Generative AI application using at least one AWS GenAI service, and PartyRock is recommended for quick development. Submissions must include a project name and tagline, a 2-3 minute demo video, the PartyRock App URL, and a project description.

Prizes

There is one non-cash prize category. Two winners will receive certificates of excellence from the SRU Cloud Club. Top teams will also be celebrated on the university's social media.
