MAIS Hacks 25-26

Overview

MAIS Hacks 25-26 is one of Canada's largest AI hackathons, bringing together 100 innovative students in Montreal for a 24-hour event focused on artificial intelligence. It's a great opportunity for collaboration and networking, welcoming both beginners and experienced hackers.

Requirements

This hackathon is for college students aged 16 and older, though participation is limited to specific countries/territories. Teams can have up to 4 members who must be registered and present at the event; you can also participate alone. You must start your project after 12:00 PM EST on November 1st, 2025, and submit it before 12:00 PM EST on November 2nd, 2025. Submissions must include all design assets and source code, and plagiarism will result in disqualification. Projects cannot be updated after the deadline.

Prizes

MAIS Hacks offers over CAD $1,100 in cash and other prizes. The Gold Hack (First Place) wins CAD $1,000 cash, with each member receiving $250. Silver Hack (Second Place) winners receive a monitor for each team member, and Bronze Hack (Third Place) winners get an ergonomic mouse. There's also a People's Choice award with CAD $100 cash, where each member receives $25. Additional prizes include Best Newbie Hack, Honorable Mention, Best Hack for Laugh, Best Hack for All Arts, Best Hack for Business, and Best Hack for Impact.
