IslanderHack

Overview

IslanderHack challenges you to create AI solutions for real problems in the South Texas community. You'll use modern AI tools like Large Language Models to build a functional prototype in a 24-hour sprint. The goal is to be innovative, make a real impact, and show off your technical skills.

Requirements

This hackathon is only open to Texas A&M University students who are above the legal age of majority. You can participate from anywhere in the world, though standard exceptions apply. Teams are limited to 6 participants. There are no specific technical requirements mentioned, but you should plan to use AI technologies. You'll need to submit a functional prototype, and the judging criteria suggest a presentation or demo video will be important.

There are 6 non-cash prizes awarded. The 1st place team members each win a Bambu Lab A1 Mini 3D Printer. 2nd place winners receive Sony WH-CH720NW Headphones, and 3rd place winners get an EPOMAKER Mech. Keyboard.
