Code the Future Hackathon

Overview

The Code the Future Hackathon, hosted by Blue VIII Robotics, invites students to innovate and collaborate on solutions to real-world problems using technology. The specific challenge will be revealed after the FIRST Tech Challenge 2025-2026 season kickoff, aiming to inspire STEM exploration and encourage tech for positive impact.

Requirements

Participants must be 13+ years old and can register individually or in teams of up to 4. Any programming language, hardware platform, or design tool is permitted. Submissions require a 3-5 minute video showcasing the project, detailing the problem, solution, technology used, and potential impact. The exact deadline will be announced after the FTC kickoff.

Prizes

$600 in cash prizes are available, distributed as $200 Visa gift cards to 3 winners.
