Code Spring

Overview

Code Spring is a month-long hackathon organized by CS HackClub, focused on letting ideas grow and blossom into real-world solutions. Participants from around the world can collaborate on projects that inspire them, with no fixed theme, allowing for creativity across various fields like AI, sustainability, and more. The extended timeframe offers a thoughtful approach to development, avoiding all-nighters.

Requirements

Participants need to submit a working prototype or demo, a project description detailing the problem, approach, and tech stack, a 3-5 minute demo video, and a GitHub or Devpost repository with code and setup instructions. Optional submissions include design mockups, a pitch deck, or a user journey map. Projects will be evaluated on creativity, originality, impact, technical execution, design, usability, and presentation. The hackathon runs from December 1st with registrations opening November 15th to December 15th, and final submissions and judging dates are to be announced.

Prizes

Code Spring offers a total of $15,000 in cash prizes. There will be 10 winners, each receiving $1,500 in cash, though the specific prize breakdown will be declared soon.
