AI Accelerate: Unlocking New Frontiers

Overview

This hackathon challenges you to build new applications using Google Cloud's AI and machine learning tools, along with technologies from partners like Elastic and Fivetran. You'll explore AI-powered search, build custom data connectors, and create industry-focused AI applications. The goal is to transform ideas into impactful solutions that pioneer new technological breakthroughs.

Requirements

Participants must be above the legal age of majority in their country of residence, and certain countries are excluded. You need to build a working application that integrates both Google Cloud products (like Vertex AI or Gemini) and the specific partner's technology. For the Elastic Challenge, focus on AI-powered search. For the Fivetran Challenge, build a custom data connector and load data into Google Cloud for AI applications. When submitting, you must provide a URL to your hosted project, a public open-source code repository with instructions, and a 3-minute demo video. You'll also need to select which challenge you're submitting for and complete the Devpost submission form.

Prizes

There's a total of $50,000 in cash prizes. For both the Elastic Challenge and the Fivetran Challenge, first place wins $12,500, second place wins $7,500, and third place wins $5,000. Winners will also have the opportunity for social media promotion.
