Project G-Assist

Project G Assist is an experimental AI helper. It aims to improve the PC experience for users with GeForce RTX AI PCs. This project was first shown at Computex 2024. The goal is to make modern PCs easier to use. You can control them with voice or text commands.
Benefits
Project G Assist can do many helpful things. It can change game and system settings to improve performance. It can also provide real-time information about your PC. It can even control other devices connected to your computer. Since it runs right on your GeForce RTX GPU, it is fast and works even without an internet connection.
Use Cases
This tool is great for gamers who want the best performance from their games. It is also useful for anyone who wants to monitor their PC or control their devices with simple commands.
Additional Information
Project G Assist uses a special AI model with 8 billion parameters. This model is designed to work well on RTX hardware. When you use G Assist, it uses a small part of your GPU''s power for a short time. This might slow down your games for a moment, but once G Assist is done, your GPU goes back to full speed.
NVIDIA made G Assist using their ACE technology. This is the same tech that game developers use. One cool thing is that NVIDIA lets the community add new features to G Assist. They have a GitHub page where you can find examples and instructions for making plugins that add new things to G Assist.
To use Project G Assist, you need to press Alt+G to open the NVIDIA app overlay. Your computer needs to have a GeForce RTX GPU with at least 12GB of VRAM and about 10GB of free space for the assistant to work.
Remember, Project G Assist is still experimental. NVIDIA wants to hear from users to make it better in the future.
