What is izzit

Izzit is a web-based tool designed to help people find out if a specific domain name is available for purchase. It acts as a simple search engine for domain names, allowing users to check availability across many different top-level domains like com, net, and org. The platform also provides information about the price of a domain if it is already taken and offers options to buy it directly or contact the current owner. Its main goal is to make the process of finding and buying a domain name faster and easier for everyone.

Benefits

The main advantage of using izzit is its speed and simplicity. Users can type in a name and instantly see which extensions are available. This saves time compared to checking multiple websites one by one. Another benefit is the ability to compare prices. If a domain is already owned by someone else, the tool shows how much it costs to buy it. This helps users decide if a name is worth the investment. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, making it suitable for people who are not experts in technology. It also supports various languages, which helps users from different countries find domains in their native tongue.

Use Cases

This tool is useful for anyone looking to start a new website or online business. Entrepreneurs can use it to brainstorm names for their brands and check if those names are free to register. Marketers might use it to find a domain that matches a specific campaign or product. Students or hobbyists can also use it to create personal websites or blogs. For example, if someone wants a site for their photography, they can type "photo" into the search bar and see if photo.com or photo.net is open for registration. It is also helpful for people who want to buy an existing popular domain name that someone else is using.

Pricing

Izzit operates on a free model for checking domain availability. There are no fees to search for names or view basic details. However, the actual cost of buying a domain depends on the extension and the registrar. If a domain is available, users can purchase it directly through the platform at standard market rates. If a domain is taken, the price to buy it from the current owner varies based on negotiation and the value of the name.

Vibes

Users generally appreciate the straightforward nature of the tool. Many find it helpful because it consolidates many domain extensions into one place. Reviews often mention that the search results are accurate and the site loads quickly. Some users note that the direct buying feature is convenient because it removes the need to go to a separate registrar after finding a name. Overall, the community sees it as a reliable starting point for anyone involved in domain name hunting.

Additional Information

Izzit was developed by a team focused on simplifying the internet infrastructure. The platform has grown to support thousands of domain extensions, making it one of the largest aggregators of its kind. It has partnerships with various domain registrars to ensure that users can complete their purchases easily. The company continues to update its database regularly to reflect the latest changes in domain availability and pricing.
